Nanostone Water, Inc. Names Ali Kalantar Vice-President Global Desalination

Nanostone Water Inc. announced today(April 2, 2021) that Ali Kalantar has been named Vice President, of Business Development- Desalination, effective immediately. Mr. Kalantar will be based in the Company’s regional commercial office in Dubai.

“We are expanding Nanostone Water’s presence in the Middle East in response to the market enthusiasm for our ceramic filtration solution for seawater desalination pretreatment and Ali is the ideal leader for this effort” said Jonathan Pressdee, Executive Vice President. “Ali brings decades of experience in seawater desalination across the globe, including the Middle East, and personifies our commitment to understanding and solving the challenges faced by our customers.”

Mr. Kalantar served as the CEO of Doosan Hydro Technology a company recognized as Desalination Company of the Year by Global Water Intelligence, and as Vice President of Business Development for Doosan Heavy Industries Water Group responsible for the U.S. and Latin America. He brings over 35 years of experience in all aspects of desalination business including design and engineering, project management, manufacturing, and international business development.
